The sOU website uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts, images and other website files load from this website. There are no embedded videos, maps or social media widgets from third parties.

Sign-in and form protection cookies are required for their respective functions. We do not request consent for them. Dismissing the notice does not consent to tracking either.

sou-language: Stores your explicitly chosen website language for 365 days. HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax and Secure on HTTPS. When signed in, the same language is also saved with your user account.

Purpose

Keeps you signed in between page visits and protects access to your account.

When set?

After a successful sign-in.

Storage period

Session cookie without a persistent expiry in the browser. Deleted on sign-out. Browser session restoration may keep session cookies even after a restart; explicitly sign out on shared devices.

The cookie is inaccessible to website scripts (HttpOnly) and only sent over encrypted connections on the published HTTPS website (Secure). SameSite=Lax restricts its use with requests from other sites.

Form protection

Name

.AspNetCore.Antiforgery. with an installation-specific suffix.

Purpose

Protects sign-in, registration and password changes, for example, against unwanted requests from other websites.

When set?

When you open a protected form.

Storage period

Session cookie. The browser session restoration explained above also applies here.

The cookie is HttpOnly, uses SameSite=Strict and is sent with Secure on the published HTTPS website. Without it, protected forms cannot be submitted safely.

Your cookie notice choice

Purpose

Only remembers your wish to hide the notice. The value v1 is the same for all visitors and does not identify you.

When set?

Only when you choose “Hide notice for 180 days”. Merely visiting the page does not set this cookie.

Storage period

180 days from this choice; ordinary page visits do not extend it.

This cookie applies only to this website, uses SameSite=Lax and Secure on HTTPS. The local notice helper can read it. We do not store this choice in your account.

“Continue without saving”, closing with the cross and pressing Escape dismiss the notice for this page only. No cookie is stored and no saved preference is changed. Without a saved preference, the notice may appear again on the next page.

Use Cookie settings in any page footer to reopen the notice. The legal notice, privacy policy and this cookie page are not automatically covered by it. The following action deletes only the saved notice preference and reopens the notice; you remain signed in.
